ZERO WASTE ART EVENT 2025

For a creative mind, trash doesn’t exist. What may seem useless, unattractive, or broken is actually an opportunity for creative thinking and renewal.

Dear Ibiza’s vibrant and sustainable community, we are thrilled to announce a new edition of the Curandera ZERO WASTE ART EVENT!

This time, in addition to the auction, we will have a jury and prizes, along with plenty of fun and inspiration. Importantly, we are introducing a New Category with prizes for Young Creators under 21 years old.

TO THE ARTISTS:

This is a call to all creative individuals in Ibiza:
Visit La Curandera's parking lot to:

Collect the materials you wish to upcycle.
Sign up by sending your details to +34 632 355 197.
Take a photo with your chosen item(s) and send it to info@boutiquehostalsalinas.com or click here. Subject: Zero Waste Artists.
Work your magic! Add more upcycled materials or natural elements if you wish.
Return your creation by March 30, 2025, for our grand Zero Waste Art Event, where you can present your work and auction it to the public (all proceeds go to the creator).
Discover the jury’s verdict and find out if you are one of the three winners in each category.

Judging Criteria:

Creativity in material usage
Overall aesthetics of the final product
Durability
Bonus points for functionality of the final piece

Prizes:

1st Prize:

A weekend for 2 at La Curandera, including breakfast and lunch, or a weekend for 2 in a beautiful apartment in Venice, on the Grand Canal and near the Rialto Bridge.
Meal for 2 at the restaurant Eat is Life.

2nd Prize:

A night for 2 at La Curandera, including breakfast and lunch.

3rd Prize:

A dinner event for 2.

The winner of the under-21 category will also enjoy a day on a boat!

(All processes will be documented, and your work will be promoted on our social media.)

TO THE IBIZA COMMUNITY:

This is an opportunity to declutter your living spaces and support local art! Bring your old and broken items (metal, wood, fabric, cables, etc.) to the dedicated area in the parking lot of La Curandera.

And, of course, join us on March 30, 2025, to celebrate our island’s creativity!
