Driven by an insatiable desire to learn and grow, Fatima's culinary adventure continued in France, where she spent a couple of years working for a family. This experience allowed her to expand her culinary repertoire and acquire new abilities, further enhancing her expertise.
However, Fatima's story takes an exciting turn as, at the young age of 25, she made her way to our beloved island of Ibiza. For a decade, she dedicated her talents to a renowned Belgian family that hosted personalities from across the globe, including politicians, bankers, actors, and actresses such as the Onassis Family. During this time, she not only crafted delectable dishes but also organized lavish events, leaving an indelible mark on the world of gastronomy.
After a decade of intense work and prudent financial management, Fatima achieved financial independence. Fueled by her lifelong dream, she seized the opportunity to fulfill her culinary vision. In a bold move, she opened her very own restaurant at Marina Botafoc in Ibiza, a place where her passion for food, her extensive experience, and her boundless creativity could shine.
Fatima Bougahza
Fatima Bougahza, a seasoned culinary artist with a rich and diverse background, has cultivated her passion for cooking through a journey spanning continents. Born in Bensliman, province of Casa Blanca, Morocco 68 years ago. She was raised in the ambiance of the Moroccan palace, where she honed her culinary skills in the royal cuisine.
Eager to explore the world and share the flavors of her beloved homeland, Fatima embarked on a remarkable journey. Her first stop led her to Barcelona, where she found herself working for the Moroccan embassy, serving up authentic Moroccan dishes that transported her fellow compatriots to the vibrant streets of Morocco.

Fatima Bougaza's restaurant became a haven for those seeking the authentic tastes of Morocco, infused with the flavors of her global journey. With each dish, she wove together the tapestry of her life, creating a dining experience that was not just about food but also about storytelling and culture.
Today, you can savor the exquisite flavors of Fatima's couscous royal at The Boutique Hostal La Curandera de Salinas every Friday at 20h.
